WHO IS THAT NOIZE – HOUSEMEISTER IS!

Following on from his critically-acclaimed debut album „Enlarge Your Dose“ on Boysnoize Records Housemeister returns with his second longplayer „Who Is That Noize“ on his very own imprint allyoucanbeat.

The renowned rave ambassador has come a long way from the hyperactive techno dj-star of a dancing mid 90s‘ Berlin to the mature hitech producer he is now. „Who Is That Noize“ delivers an intriguing audio-autobiography of a young but experienced artist, allowing us a thourough insight into the „who“ behind the noize.

On 14 genuinely original tracks Housemeister offers everything that is most clever, heartfelt, daring, funny and abrasive. A blazing ride of many colours shapes into a coherent yet cutting edge exploration of the source of electronic soundscaping itself.
As we know from his previous relases Housemeister is deeply in love with analogue equipment and „Who Is That Noize“ demonstrates once again Housemeister‘s ability to throw up new styles from ol‘ machines.

Electro, space, ghetto - techno! Housemeister doesn‘t equally shy away from pushy dancefloor bangers, from battered experimental odysees that skilfully stumble back into perfect beat or from melancholic but comforting twilight tunes that touch base with the darker side of the soul.
But why do we feel so remarkably striked by each and every track just as if we were right there in the very core of the production? Cause we are!

Housemeister takes us with him into his infamous Otherfucker studio to bear witness to his unique production process. Each track is based on live recorded sequences, snap shots of a dj at work who uses his machines just as he would use his records in the mix. Perfect moments generated by high-end improvisation. From there Housemeister lets the tunes morph and move, meander and build up in ever evolving sequences, adds voices, bass, distortion and distant melodies. Raw and vulnerable but powerful and inescapable.

Right from the opening synth riffs of „Hallo Lieblingsmensch“ you know you are in for a treat and it won‘t let loose until you worked your way through the whole album.

„Inordertodance“ ups the pace to a breathless, chrome-plated electro-hymn, ready to melt the dancefloor underneath your feet.

In comes „What You Want“ where eerie electronic ghosts ask the elementary question just to present the answer over the thriving course of the tune: you want to dance!

The title track „Who Is That Noize“ is a testament of Housemeister‘s well-deserved moniker as Berlin‘s original Techno B-Boy. Produced with the Rhythm 7 freeware on a Playstation Portable it sports New York Electro in flashy 8bit kicks.

When the already perfect album tracklist concludes into the dreamy, enthusiastic anthem „Das Leben ist herrlich“ you will want nothing else than raise you arms and shout out loud „Yes, life is beautiful!“.

With „Who Is That Noize“ Housmeister successfully layed out a frisky, multi-faceted universe that illustrates vividly why the art and the heart of raving will live on forever. The strong work of a maximum artist who hasn‘t reached final velocity yet.
